Club Captains

The Club Captains and Vice Captains of Griffith Swimming Club are elected at the end of each year by their peers.  The Club Captains and Vice Captains for 2020 are:-

Role of the Club Captains

·      Captains must demonstrate exemplary behaviour and act as role models for the younger members of the club

·      Assist new swimmer in the club

·      Assist with the setup of marshalling area chairs and pool dive blocks

·      Assist officials within the Marshalling Area to maintain order

·      Where possible assist with preparing equipment for Point-score evenings

·      Assist with packing away and storing of Point-score equipment 

·      Encourage team spirit amongst all swimmers and encourage them to participate in a sporting manner
